Goat Gland Specialist. George Brent Detractor. Crate Digger. Retired Cigarette Lender.
A sequel to the 2007 Anna Faris stoner comedy SMILEY FACE. Really, any good Anna Faris vehicle would do.

Despite its drug underworld setting, DRIFTING lacks the intoxicating luridness of Browning's best work. For most of the running time it's a run of the mill melodrama. Only in the homestretch, when everything's aflame and Dean proves herself handy with a rifle, does it feel like something special.

CBP officials testify that when officers lit up some f cigars to celebrate the latest round of unwarranted arrests and beatings, someone surreptitiously replaced their cigars with sticks of dynamite, causing explosions that left their faces scorched.

Cruel Gun Story (1964)

Hardboiled Japanese heist flick in which a newly released convict is recruited by the mob to steal the takings from a racetrack. Naturally, everything goes to shit. Recommended for fans of Kubrick's THE KILLING.

A touching portrait of a dying small-town hairdresser that brings to mind Chaplin in its deft mix of comedy and pathos. Kier is truly remarkable in the lead role, hilarious and more flamboyant than a 30-foot Christmas tree without ever hiding the pain, physical and emotional, his character is in.
