He had kinetic tape on the knee in training before the game, so there was something. And the second game being pushed back a day may have something to do with it.

But it still doesn't make sense to me they come out with a diagnosis like that instead of just saying he has discomfort or whatever.

We will see how this story develops. But at this point, it's very much starting to feel like there's a causal relationship between what I say about or do with him and his actual performance.

Not dead yet, but while GW1 was promising, it's probably time to admit defeat - we'll never know what would've been without Palmer's injury, but it happened and this is the timeline.

So now the decision is whether to cover that base or keep taking it on, look for gains elsewhere.
