Marriage is a story built on the foundation of love, and good stories have good climaxes.

Pope to Jesuit Major Superiors: “Political systems often fail to respond to the cries of the poor. Populism and ideological polarization deepen divisions within and among nations. Many are affected by consumerism, individualism, and indifference.” www.vatican.va/content/leo-...
I'm unsure how to respond to what is occurring within our government. I don't see any light at the end of tunnel for our country. It's dim. Sadly, dim.

The same people who lost their minds over renovations to Cracker Barrel are totally fine with the White House getting bulldozed

I'm in need of employment, like millions of others. Best efforts are futile in the terrible job market. "Work w/ Dignity - Gratitude for a Supportive Family (Forgot My Father was on LinkedIn) " #Catholic youtu.be/zPlgmUHlCRs?...

I haven't had a phone screen on months. It's not just me, but particularly people in software development. My husband's engineering firm went down to 300+ employees to a dozen. Between AI and offshoring our economy doesn't exist.
I know you mean well, but no. I wake up everyday knowing I'm a waste for three years trying to find work. My husband spent hundreds of dollars on a top job coach, people mentored me. I'm not trained to teach nor do to I have the personality/soft skills to teach.
My LinkedIn account where I over networked and found herself posting her children's (young adult) accomplishments in hopes someone likes me enough (vibe check) to hire me. www.linkedin.com/in/reneeaste

I participated in June, I was there with several other parishioners from my parish. The organizers in my city did a great job staying on message.
Also my work is in fundraising research, which has been taking over by AI software. Non-profits don't need "prospect researchers".
It's embarrassing how financially "dependent" I am. My husband is so supportive of me having a career & family, even professionals I've networked with. When your mentors are getting laid off, and taking positions they're overqualified for.
Invest in "rain pants" like the ones you would purchase if camping.
I suffer from long term employment in a terrible job market, fighting with new graduates & workers with no gaps. I have real skills & accomplishments, but they were in volunteer positions, so hiring managers don't count it as "experience". I love my kids, but I'm economically ruined because of it.
I raised four decent & likeable children (now young adults), the last thing I want is a trophy. I thought my second half of life would be career focused but I suffer from age/mother discrimination and my employment skills being dismissed by hiring managers.
Katherine comes up with stupidity like “motherhood medals“ to “elevate mothers“ because she can’t advocate for anything that might economically inconvenience the billionaire🥚who holds her leash.
Whatever you do, don't visit Salem Massachusetts in October. "Hocus Pocus" devotees overrun the poor town.

what trump brought to the republican party, more than maybe any other thing, was contempt for virtue, and he’s demanded that republicans abandon any virtue they might have once had.
It is not so long ago that disability policy was bipartisan. I taught at the Bush School, and George H.W. Bush would talk about his pride in signing the Americans with Disabilities Act.
Every once in a while during the 2024 campaign, I'd meet parents of disabled kids who were part of Moms for Liberty or people who taught autistic kids. @slooterman.bsky.social writes how they are afraid right now as Trump targets special education staff.

Some folks were worried that they'd sic thugs on the protestors or declare martial law. Instead they posted AI videos and complained.

These people have no juice. Their supporters are cowards. They are are all bark and no bite. They collapse when we push back. Remember that.
