Find some local events, I attend a Drink and Draw every other week at a local pub. Very fun! Even if thou aren't interested in drinking, go to your local pub and check out the fliers 🙂

got a video in my algo from a "homesteader" claiming women should never get mammograms and instead just "take control of their diet and environment"

Public announcement: if you wanna bake bread or raise chickens or whatever, you can just do that. you don't need to do all this other evil bitch shit

Don't use AI to get off! The internet is full of perverts and exhibitionists, when you use a machine to scratch that itch you are ridding yourself of even the bare minimum of human connection 🥺

Yeah. I think it’s okay for characters to not know why they do things! Even for the author to not always know!

RFK JR: There are many other confirmations -- there are two studies that show children who are circumcised early have double the rate of autism. It’s highly likely because they are given Tylenol

Extra funny when you think about how Sinners, which features Michael B. Jordan gunning down Klansmen in broad daylight in slow-mo, is the 10th highest-grossing R-rated film of all time - higher than The Hangover, 300, Logan, John Wick 4, etc....

SCOOP: Last year, Ubisoft cancelled an Assassin's Creed game set during Reconstruction. Was to feature a Black Assassin who, among other things, fought the rise of the Klan

Sources: Leadership nixed it over concerns re: U.S. political climate, backlash to Yasuke

So I will just forever be on the edge of things, and maybe I find myself feeling comfortable, which then becomes a red flag and I back off! I don't want to ruin things for everyone else! My brain says: "Just try not to exist too much"

I hate the idea of asserting my presence in places where I feel I don't belong. But I have a bad sense for that. Childhood trauma and then a whole lifetime of trying not to set off events like said trauma; boy am I fucking bad at determining!

Maybe they should just lay off all their employees and replace them with AI

I thought Eddington did a good job of navigating physical and digital spaces while also creating complicated granularity about how "nonfictional" narrative becomes distorted and ruptured. Also, *not* a comedy nor a satire, in my opinion. Whatever that says about the here and now.
