I thought Kidprint had basically no redeeming value. Like, it was gross, but it also wasn’t interesting, either story-wise, or to look at.

I assume that most Christians are generally pretty normal people, but if you are into scary stories at all, you start to notice that a vocal minority of them are terrified of: numbers, playing cards, board games, dolls, times of night, etc. It’s kind of hilarious, but also pretty sad.

It’s the first weekend in October and I’m home alone for the morning. Gonna light my ‘There’s Nothing Sweet About Candyman’ candle and pull a few Horror Oracle cards to get in a festive mood. Let me know if you want me to pull one for you, too.

Every year it takes more willpower to not buy a pumpkin-shaped enameled cast iron cocotte for Halloween/Thanksgiving. To be clear, I really can’t justify the expense, but I am an adult with credit cards, and they’re so pretty.

Got my hair cut today!

I’m not great at rhythm games, so I‘m not super familiar with many of them. I don’t know if Sayonara Wild Hearts is quite up there (I mean, the soundtrack, certainly), but I did personally love it.

Borderlands 4 update: I have not gotten to play as much as I’d like in the past two weeks, but what I have played is really fun! Part of the problem is that I’m in two games, one around half of the game done (based on the main quest, there’s still a ton to explore), and one only a quarter or so.

New pottery finishes! The vases were a check-in project to see how we were doing after our summer break: the beige-pink one is mine, the blue-green one is @jeremiahgenest.bsky.social ’s. The sake bottle is mine from before the summer break, but it was the unfortunate victim of a kiln malfunction

So I bought some giant pink headphones to stop people from interrupting me so much. Well, today I was making applesauce and listening to a spooky story when my husband came up behind me for a hug. And, after the screaming stopped, he had the audacity to say that he ‘didn’t see’ the headphones.

So when I’m cooking or crafting or whatever I like to listen to podcasts and such, but I was having trouble with people talking to me or unintentionally sneaking up on me because I was wearing AirPods and they couldn’t see them under my hair.
