fun fact i don’t remember what’s the number because my brain is mush right now but there are a fuck shit ton of churches in Köln. still i think there are more progress pride flags hanging from windows and balconies.

anyway you can hear the bells of all those churches in unison everyday

it’s 5:25, i need to sleep but i took a nap earlier because i had a headache and didn’t feel good and now i still don’t feel great but my brain has convinced me that finishing this chainmail top will heal me i think i should stop listening for a few hours before the morning church bells.

I hear and see your concerns. Over the weekend, a couple users hosted on Blacksky's PDS were banned from the Bluesky app and thus the Bluesky API servers. This was a weakness of our system I've been aware of and hoped we had more time to address before any kind of public incident. 1/11

the issue is : while we wait and support the building of that platform, artists are still facing the issue of having their fed to genAI when it was promised that wouldn’t happen. so what can we do about it?

been thinking about all of this a lot and i still believe that it’s possible to build great online spaces free from billionaires, AI and VC investor led decisions. so i’m gonna keep on cheering and supporting the Blacksky team while they’re building what seems to be pretty close to what we need. 2/

that’s the one thing that’s bothering me right now. i don’t expect liberals and libertarians to understand what makes an online space safe for people like me, but if i’m gonna have my data scraped either way maybe my business would be better off in a place with a bigger pool of users. 1/
