Americans across all 50 states marched in protests against the Trump administration on Saturday, aligning behind a message that the country is sliding into authoritarianism and there should be no kings in the US.

People are being blown apart in wars, homelessness is everywhere, and perverts are in political leader roles! Who cares about some jewellery?
Apropos of nothing, Ocean's 8 (2018) is a delightful film with a stellar cast

A quick reminder that we're also on Facebook, with a much larger presence than we seem to be able to manage here, despite FB depleting our page likes by the day.

A dazzling Technicolor nightmare, Pearl transforms the slasher prequel into a haunting character study about ambition, repression, and the dark side of the American dream — elevated by Mia Goth’s career-defining performance.

10 / #31for31 — THE THING WITH FEATHERS

for a story about grief & despair, it never took the vital, gut-wrenching dip to rock bottom — doesn't match MANCHESTER BY THE SEA in its pain, BABADOOK in its absurdity

but: looks great, 10/10 Crow, great acting by all, great adaptation of the book's quirks

Which one was the best and which one was the worst?
Thank you for bringing it to my attention. You are right. Ignoring the darker aspects of humanity will only bring more suffering.

I did not know this. That is terrible 😢
Allen is a piece of crap but not everyone who worked with him is as awful as he is!

Please do me a favor… if you’re a fan of my father’s & hate people using AI to imitate an artist after his death, please 👎🏻 & report this asshole to Google. youtube.com/@georgecarli... It’s whack a mole for us. This is a nightmare.

From the bottom of my heart, I want to thank all of you who’ve gone over to YouTube to report these assholes doing AI versions of my dad.

It’s terrifying watching them destroy his integrity and future legacy.

YouTube needs to handle this stuff differently.
I think Diane was a nice person even though she was mates with Allen. Her work will live forever ⚘️
I don't know who you are. I don't care how you feel about Woody Allen or Diane Keaton in your ugly living room. I understand why she has a legacy in film. As a survivor of CSA and DV, I will hold companies that get money, like Letterboxd, accountable for white-washing her.
