one more thought. the fact that trans ppl can see themselves in frankie doesn't mean it's wrong for her not to be trans in canon, it just shows that butches and trans people can share similar experiences. i think that's awesome! frankie being a cis butch isn't better or worse than her being trans.

Hey. If you check the voice actresses imdb, It explcitly states she specializes in both feminine and masculine roles and has voiced mutiple masc characters in the past (notably Scarab from fionna and cake and Pina from Beastars). It's not "yucky" she's a grown woman doing her job.
