I mean, honestly half of that IS actually a CVS receipt of mine that I used as proof of concept. And that’s a six foot long quilt. I just don’t go to CVS enough to get what I’d need for the whole thing in a timely fashion!

The thing I find frustrating about fpp is all of the weird shaped scraps it leaves. My waste bin (which is for pieces under half an inch in either direction and gets turned into cat toy stuffing) was totally full after this quilt and I had loads of weird shapes left. Nice to use it.

(I’m using the receipt paper as a base to sew the irregularly shaped fabric pieces to and then trimming it down to straight sides.)

Huh, so the US definition of buttery spread apparently includes margarine but also has more fat source options than margarine does by law. Not sure if it's the same as the UK version though. Should basically be yes I think?
