I also snagged a bunch of containers out of a neighbor's recycling that I could start some more winter seeds with but I needed a "do paying work" break.

I also moved my car for the first time in like two plus weeks and I still had to power over some snow to get it out. I've decided to park it across the street to let the sun hit it a bit given we're above 40 F. I'm not shoveling another fucking thing.

it depends. some salt is mined, some comes out of brine pits (kinda mined), some is crystalized fresh from the sea.

The sentence is from what looks like an incredibad DC/Marvel crossover where Slade and Wade are cousins which is pretty funny to me since I know the history of the characters and also Deadpool is what got me back into comics after college.

And she definitely got some inappropriately expressed anal gland funk on my quilt! My quilt that I sleep with! So that’s on the floor to be washed tomorrow. My other quilt is under Meatball who cannot be moved so I guess I’m just going to be cold on whatever side is not next to a dog.

So I decided not to buy the pattern and reverse engineered it. Which meant I was guessing on how many blocks I needed based on laying it out on my guest bed. Turns out if you don’t have true 90° angles, it throws the whole thing off! I had to add so many blocks with y seams! Trimming seemed easy!

Tbf, they really snuck it in last minute! I’m lucky I had a pattern I’ve done before that I could edit on the fly to match the theme.

YES!! And like not very long after that episode aired so search wasn’t great on the 1999ish internet and I had to spend ages getting my VHS to creep to a frame that showed me the musical credit and then go to the CD next to campus to see if they could find the album and order it. Still have it!

In retrospect it was clearly a hand dye fabric and I guess I just won’t use any more of those from this stash, at least not next to light fabrics.
