Man, it would be nice to see bird seed mixes with native seeds in them other than sunflowers. And I know that part of it is that there's not a lot of extra seed out there, especially regionally, but like someone's got to have echinacea seeds past their germination prime.

23F outside and my husband is lighting the chimney started for the charcoal grill while balanced precariously on an unshoveled ice hillock. Thought about how much I didn’t want to explain that to the attending at the ER so went out with the shovel after to clear the ice.

I hate making practice pieces in stuff I don’t like because what if it comes out good in the end but also what if I waste good fabric on a shitty practice piece? And usually I end up with something okay but not great. Today’s reason I was yelling about binding: a zipper case.

Last night’s dream theatre was once again “back to uni but I don’t know my classes or where they are” with a bonus mass shooting and hiding in non-Euclidean buildings so that sucked.
