I have a major soft spot for it out of nostalgia- but Orphan: Scion Of Sorcery.

extremely flawed game that puts forth cool set pieces with gameplay that doesn’t end up meaning much. I imagine another year of dev couldve put this game in the same convo as FFX but thats foolish

What's the worst game you finished/rolled credits on?

(games media folks, it can't be something you were assigned to review; this has to be something you subjected yourself to of your own free will)

What an amazing Rocktober 13! 🤘
I ended multiple games with a Bleeding Death! I fought a Hextadon with Treeback! I possessed a Rock Crusher with an Organist! (I didn’t even know you can do that!) I really do love this game. Thanks for playing it with me every year! 🖤

decided to re-do animations as I didnt understand procreate dreams when making the original Maj animations.

originally the characters were in b/w but I decided to color them now. Also animating the characters are now much faster!

What im getting at is - I really appreciate what Gunn's going for with his DCU shows + films. I just don't know how effective the message is going to be when it's coming from something corporate, which is kinda safe. This isn't full organized thoughts but something I've been thinking about lol

When Superman came out in july, a good friend of mine criticized it because he still views the character as a symbol of U.S. exceptionalism/imperialism - which is understandable. He's a character that's been used in propaganda for WWII ! Dean Cain, vanity ICE agent, tries to be the authorial voice

an aside: tried to see if DCU has a similar thing with the US army like the MCU - those movies are made like US army propaganda. I couldn't find anything that shows DCU using DoD stuff but if anyone knows, link me

Just by the way human characters like flags jr/sr, waller, etc are - They work for the US gov and still uphold these systems. Jr recognized it late in TSS and the supporting cast in Peacemaker are aware of this too. Sr himself is more reckless than waller, whos more upfront about it.

i like to click out of listening/watching a video anytime the word Flow is mentioned about a game

Joke aside, I wish Kathryn Bigelow went back to making something like Strange Days cuz despite her fetishism for US military/cop stuff, that movie was a BANGER.

David Simon, creator of ‘The Wire’, being interviewed by Ari Shapiro (NPR)
SHAPIRO: OK, so you've spent your career creating television without Al, and I could imagine today you thinking, boy, I wish I had had that tool to solve those thorny problems...
SIMON: What?
SHAPIRO: ...Or saying...
SIMON: You imagine that?
SHAPIRO: ...Boy, if that had existed, it would have screwed me over.
SIMON: I don't think Al can remotely challenge what writers do at a fundamentally creative level.
SHAPIRO: But if you're trying to transition from scene five to scene six, and you're stuck with that transition, you could imagine plugging that portion of the script into an Al and say, give me 10 ideas for how to transition this.
SIMON: I'd rather put a gun in my mouth.

Hi, my name is Tooba Zaidi and I wrote this program in 1985 during the summer holidays when I was a fifth year at school. I hope that you enjoy this game as it took me three months to write.
