Wish I could say that I was shocked by this attitude. The lack of awareness on reciprocity is pretty notable. I guess Canadian innocent bystanders impacted by the trade war and other policy decisions don't really matter in the mind of that fellow. The grapes can rot on the vines.

Happy Thanksgiving, Bonnie. All the best to you and those you care about.

Who knew Diablo IV could drop such wisdom.

Still cheesed off with the state of the UK after 15 years? Voting for angry people promising vague changes means you ARE the problem. #populism

I think to some extent, we're doing ourselves a disservice (everywhere) of buying so solidly into this single dimension political spectrum. It creates tribalism, which becomes toxic all too easily. Also doesn't reflect the continuum of views Canadians hold. abacusdata.ca/abacus-data-...

Four wards in Calgary haven't had election debates (Wards 2, 3, 12 and 13). The Sprawl has waited for others to organize debates in these wards. It hasn't happened. We're done waiting and are making a last-ditch effort to organize and livestream debates in these wards before Election Day. #yyccc

Lol is it really? Ok, now your comment makes more sense. I wasn't aware that Oat was a coin.

You're right, Bluesky does need a satire button.

That's a really fascinating topic, I hope you'll post excerpts and findings here occasionally. I'd love to read them.

Pretty sure any roo would kick my ass in about three seconds flat and toss me on the barby after. I'll just stick with giving 'em the nod from afar and crack another can.

I've never understood why bars put stools at the high tops and the bar. Don't you want me to stay longer and drink more? My arse going numb gets in the way of that.

"Another infuriating example of Ottawa treading on us, attacking us with this fake news fake fire report. We need to take back Alberta sovereignty now. Build better bigger. Prosperity. For Albertans."

- Danielle Smith, probably.

Ugh, Premier. Stupid no edit button.

In the process, depriving the people in that riding of representation in the legislature and their voice in policy. All for partisan games.

That might have been where I noticed it. This sort of anti-democratic obstructionism isn't limited to your country. Here in Canada, the Alberta premiere delayed a by-election of a vacant seat for the max time allowed under the law, because the new leader of the opposition party was running in it.
