These tiny snails are a 'pest' species because they breed like crazy. One got into my tank with some plants and now I have many. 😆 I also have a new assassin snail. 💀☠️ But they are ridiculously cute anyway.

yup. The misinformation might have been excusable 30-40 years ago, but with the internet, we all have easy access to science and research and reality. Now, the ignorance is deliberate.

My mom didn't like crafting at all. She learned to sew because she had to (a kid in the Depression, orphaned, etc). My dad did ALL the crafts and always encouraged me to try new things.💙

My dad's parents were born at the end of the 1800's. My dad was 1920's. I was late 60's. My kids in the 2000's. It's wild to think about. My dad's family is crafty. Fiber craft, wood craft, painting, model trains, even mechanical work is all hand's-on. etc. I guess it's in the genes. 😊

unfortunately true. We were just talking about the "Autism Speaks" org and looked up an old TV ad they did that practically equated autism to demon possession. It was horrible.

I was maybe 7-8 years old when I started making up designs with my mom's sewing thread. She didn't use it, yet got mad that I did😜 My dad bought me books with embroidery stitches. His parents embroidered and I still have some of their work inc. a cardinal picture which is abt 100yo now😯
