riiiiiiiiight. They're doing damage control and blaming the kidnapping of a child to use as bait on the family. True innocence would have been to leave the kid and the family alone to live their lives in peace. You know? Without the whole kidnapping thing. I've never 'accidentally' kidnapped anyone.
