No need to be ad hominem. I am not trolling. But, if you can't explain, that's fine.

I never said pollution and human-induced environmental changes were good. I am more of a Gaia-ist. From a planetwide view, change happens, and the coming and goings of species is part of life. Is this a simplistic view, maybe? Would you care to explain further? I am looking to be educated.

This may be an ignorant take, but this has been going on for millions of years. It's evolution, right? Environments change, animals adapt or go extinct. This means that the Lowbrow Tangle-webbed Booby (OK, I made that one up) can take over that niche. Evolution is cool, extinction is part of it.

Even weirder if it isn't Runaway Train...

This. If they are looking for flash over substance in the end its a toxic culture. Best to avoid those early. I can tell you first hand what working at a company like that will do to you.

Hey Boston Sports Peeps, what websites do you use to follow the local teams? #NESN is poorly written, not-copy-edited clickbait mostly and CBSsports is all on betting. I haven't read ESPN in years. Looking for (ideally) 1. free, and 2. good quality.

You're the expert, but aren't most metals non-FERROmagnetic. Para- and di-magnetic is a different issue. ;-]

I just blew into my hands to warm them up...in my house...in October. But, I will make it to November to turn on the heat.

I am proudly anti-fascist, or antifa.
Fascism is bad. Very bad. So bad we literally have fought several wars to combat it.
P.S. I pronounce it an-tee-FAH, not an-TEE-fah like the MAGAts

The efficacy after 2 doses is 99% for measles, 95% for mumps, and 90% for rubella after just 1 dose. There has never been a single documented death attributable to the MMR vaccine. The risk of life-threatening side effects is ~1 in 1 million doses. It can even be given as post-exposure prophylaxis!

The MMR vaccine is one of the most stunningly effective medical therapeutics in existence. It’s also safer than most of your everyday activities. This is simply an attempt to stop people from vaccinating.

The 2025 #NobelPrize in Chemistry was awarded today for the development of metal-organic frameworks, molecular sponges with applications in gas storage, water purification and more: www.compoundchem.com/2025/10/08/2...

Infographic on the 2025 Nobel Prize in Chemistry, awarded to Susumu Kitagawa, Richard Robson, and Omar M. Yaghi for the development of metal-organic frameworks. The infographic explains that metal-organic frameworks are molecular sponges built up from metal ions and organic compounds that act as linkers. Small molecules such as gases can move into and out of cavities in these frameworks. The graphic highlights some of the MOFs the laureates have developed and concludes by looking at possible future uses of MOFs, including gas storage and extracting water from air.

My entire professional life happened due to social media. I only applied to my first job due to a Twitter recommendation from the person who became my mentor there. All my talks, magazine articles, some journal articles came about through socials.
