Bart is academically dumb. But he’s shown so many times he’s got street smarts and he’s resourceful.

The only time they got him right is when he had a bike shop and he got paid for doing his graffiti art.

But despite it suiting the character I’m pretty sure they did that because -

One of my biggest problems with the Simpsons is honestly how they portray Bart in the future episodes.

Lisa’s always super successful but personally unsatisfied. That checks.
Maggie often goes on to become the voice of her generation. Funny.

Bart’s a dumbass freeloader.
