He knew the terminology was probably inaccurate, but it was the best way he had of understanding the strange words and claims -

He said the word almost like a child saying something new for the first time and in fairness to Einar, while he clearly isn’t a child, he’s never even heard of such a term before now.

But he could understand the concept of being ostracised by others. His own people -

Not a raider so much like many of his ancestors. But purely someone who went out to see the world.

9 — Einar is a great warrior.
But as a strategist he’s kinda average.

Like. He can lead an army, but a Caesar or a Napoleon he ain’t. He relies on being able to rally his warriors and being more mentally coherent than some half-insane and mentally deranged corpses.

He trusts his subordinates and his people to just keep going on without any need for micromanaging.

7 — The legends of his years in the wildness have grown massively over the top over the years.

They make out like he was some super wasteland-taming hero. But in reality he often struggled and suffered throughout those times.

It was a lethal grind.
He misses it though.

Easier than politics.

6 — Einar genuinely has no desire for power or to achieve more of it. Though many don’t believe that since his agenda and plans sort of paint him as someone trying to expand his base and territory.

It’s an incredibly annoying tight-rope of public perception he can’t be bothered to really deal with.
