Hard to overstate what an unpleasant Emmy telecast this is so far. It feels like it’s being run with genuine hostility toward the people it’s supposed to be honoring.

I've never thought there was a bad time to be honest about the fact that a horrible person is/was horrible. But after this week's whitewashing of Kirk by the media and political commentariat, it feels not just permissible but essential to fight both sentimentality and dishonesty at top volume.
The vibes are absolutely off.
One tiny sliver of good news this awful week: Hulu appears to have finally added “I Don’t Want To Wait” back into the Dawson’s Creek opening credits. This is huge.
Where are brands (clothing brands in this case) getting the impression that consumers WANT AI-generated anything? Yes, I get that it saves money and capitalism rules all, but if it's AI, just assume that the buyer will figure that out and become royally turned off.
