Syringes such as this were used for urethral irrigations, inserted into the urethra and flushing it out with caustic fluids, such as mercury, which would burn off sores caused by diseases such as syphilis.

I went to the optician because I have a weird spot in my vision and they were *very thorough* and identified a something in the RPE on the OCT (hahahaha no I don't know what that stands for I am looking on Wikipedia) and even though it is smol they are going to refer because it is interfering with

I have only ever had sticky toffee pudding in pubs and it's great but simultaneously too much. I like apple crumble the way my mum made it with no sugar added to the apples (just in the crumble) so you get sharp and sweet all together 😋

The trailblazing transgender rights activist Miss Major has passed away at the age of 78.

Miss Major was a lifelong organizer and participant in the ballroom scene. She took part in the 1969 Stonewall Riots and was injured by the police — but she kept fighting.
