Yes!!! They had painted the whole house this lifeless grey-blue as part of their staging and we were like absolutely NOT we want it to feel like ours 🩷
We're gonna do all of em 💀 We're done with downstairs except trim (and the tiny half bath). Gotta finish carrying the entryway color up the stairs, and then Sammy's room before we move. Then we'll do our bedroom, the office, and the bathrooms bit by bit.
We haven't decided what to do with the backsplash yet; we are changing the countertops so they'll be white, and then idk lol I'm considering something maybe with a wood look to it, something really warm

Have spent all day prepping and painting and pulling the doors off the kitchen cabinets and I'm TIRED but it's good. The house is really coming together I'm so glad we're taking the time to do this 🥺
I have a mountain of little things (table runner, decorative hooks for the walls, fake plants, etc) that I want to get for the new house but I'm making myself wait until we've actually moved to buy them bc they'll just be in the way until then, but omg it's killing me I want my pretty things now 😭
