I'm no Trump fan, and the rebuild has massive issues (funding, corruption, national security risks associated with who builds it and if any bugs are planted)....

But the WH also needs some improvements. A lot of folks say its low key gross.

It juat shows how software developers are *not* decision makers for software engineering, even though they are best placed to demonstrate what works best. Somehow coders became important but not important enough to be the leaders.

CZ pleaded guilty to a criminal money laundering charge and was sentenced to prison.

But then he financed President Trump’s stablecoin and lobbied for a pardon.

Today, he got it.

If Congress does not stop this kind of corruption, it owns it.

I know many voted for Trump because they felt he was a wild card; a desperate attempt to shake things up in a world that hasn't deliver.

For everyone's sake, Dems have to deliver. They cannot fail. The responsibility is too great. The need, too large.

I'm sure many of you have heard by now that earlier this week, IU k*lled the print edition of its student paper, the IDS. The issue that was supposed to print this week contained criticism of the Whitten regime and IUs further slide into scist control, and they couldn't allow that to happen during Homecoming, when all the rich alumni are in town.
Enter Purdue! The Purdue student paper, The Exponent, owns its own presses. Yesterday, in an act of tremendous solidarity with their biggest rival school, they printed the forbidden issue of the IDS. They then drove it to Bloomington overnight and stocked all of the IDS boxes on campus, just in time for Homecoming.
Solidarity is what makes us stronger, and solidarity will be what ultimately allows us to triumph, if we can ever truly get it together. I hope everyone has a fun, safe day if they're going out today, and I hope we can think about what acts of solidarity we can begin taking to really make this movement MOVE - beyond a permitted expression of upset into more active resistance.

Given the Trumpist assault on the patriotism of all who plan to attend No Kings rallies, I urge every Democratic elected official to attend one. They shouldn’t speak—if there are speakers, better to br less partisan civic leaders and citizens—but they should stand in solidarity with the rest of us.

1000%. Someone needs to challenge her. Are Democrats Americans? Do they deserve prison (terrorist) or exile (undocumented immigrant)? Would it be appropriate to punch or otherwise assault a Democrat? Can a Christian be a Democrat?

1000% this. Also, any disposal costs should also be required to be borne by the AI companies. These tech cos have very little experience building physical infrastructure, maintaining it, and sunsetting it at an appropriate time.

I feel like regulating data centers' energy grid impacts is such a layup for state legislators. These costs should be borne by tech companies, who can then pass them on to their users. There is no reason why local residents should be paying increased energy bills.

OpenAI releasing sext bots means the AI bubble bursting can't be far off. Why would they risk torching their reputation unless they were so desperate for revenue they've no other choice? Remember too they are deeply in bed with nvidia. It'll impact construction and energy sectors too.
