Have you ever seen a job posting for one? Who exactly would be funding that?

To clarify, I am in what would be considered a "first world" (I HATE that term) country without socialized medicine. Many goods/services here are *more* expensive than in then US.

That just reinforces that this is how healthcare in the US could be. That it isn't - well, that's a choice...
I'm out of the US and needed urgent care with three different prescriptions.

I saw a specialist doc educated in India and got three different prescription medications. Due to the late hour, I didn't go to an "exec medicine" clinic. In and out in < 3 hrs. Total cost, $135.

US healthcare is screwed.

Non-protesting dad just trying to hustle his kids, as young as 6mo, out of the neighborhood. ICE threw a flash-bang INTO HIS car, all 6 kids in the hospital now.

If anyone wondered how things turn against occupying armies there's a case study playing out in front of you.

That's right, although these days there is a regrettable exception to it: if you are being kidnapped by the secret police, you should yell your name at someone recording with a cellphone.

You can't rely on "they'll take me to jail" anymore, they might disappear you to a foreign gulag.

a piece of chicken
a piece of broccoli
(a) corn tortilla
one other thing

is that piece of chicken a wing? a leg?

how big is "a piece" of broccoli?

do you just eat your corn tortilla dry?

what's "one other thing"? a dollop of salsa? a rice kernel?

these are deeply unserious, wicked people.
Brooke Rollins: "We've run over 1,000 simulations. It can cost around $3 a meal for a piece of chicken, a piece of broccoli, corn tortilla, and one other thing. So there is a way to do this that actually will save the average American consumer money."
