The Telegraph PUBLISHED these words: “... should there be an incident, his private protection team can only call 999 and hope for a swift response.”
Those words seem like an extremely sinister way of providing a roadmap for any chancer, stalker or hired thug – or worse.

In Aotearoa NZ we need well funded, publicly funded, free media, moderated for truth and bias, untethered to the government of the day.
The national cost of having a free media should not be seen as a burden but a benefit to society, because without it no one knows what the truth is anymore.

I want to know why the media didn't pick up on the huge changes she made - the record $1.8 billion investment in water infrastructure, a district plan allowing for more affordable housing, 27km of cycleways and a drop in emissions. All are projects the council have been delaying since the mid 1990s
