Just finished When the Wolf Comes Home, so that was Halloween appropriate. Now starting on Tana French‘s The Hunter.
What did you think of Wolf? I really enjoyed it, put a new name on my watch list!
Ooh, a #Halloween #FridayReads! Anyone reading anything appropriate to the season?

OK, going to have trouble paying rent again this month due to back injury.

Would appreciate so much the spreading of my online shop to get some cool orders sent out next week.
All signed.

No need to go far. #TheLongWalk comes home October 21.
I'm glad it's not just me. My initial impression is that it could easily edited down to a 300-page page-turner, but because it's Danielewski, I have to assume there's something important in the structure and language, which is why I'm waiting.
It’s slow going. It’s taken me a few months to get a third of the way in. Partly down to the fact I’m not great with ebooks, but it’s very long and very wordy. Enjoying it nonetheless. Reserving judgement on whether it could have been edited down til I reach the end.
🎵It's the most wonderful time of the week!🎵

Yep, it's #FridayReads time, so let the world know what you're reading as we head into the weekend. For me, it's:

📗: THE SOUND OF THE DARK by Daniel Church
📱: TOM'S CROSSING by Mark Z Danielewski
🎧: THE LIBRARIANIST by Patrick deWitt
