6 adventurers struggle to identify mysterious shoe-like items found in the dungeon until they go to the tavern and allow a Bishop to inspect them closer, only to confirm they are in fact shoes.

I’m also just enjoying it until they tune it to a point where they either abandon the game because it’s not profitable or they spoil it with intrusive lootbox stuff.

Everybody should read more for pleasure.

But that isn’t to say that it’s noble, or your new personality or performative for social media, or you should keep count of how many books you read in a year.

You don’t count how many telly programs you watch in a year do you?

Don’t be daft!

I’m really enjoying the new Skate as it’s “FREE” . Love the map. I have no compulsion to engage with lootboxes or do any goals. Just find a spot and do what I want. Ideal.

Ok we have liftoff! (Still have to tweak the controls a lot, and wait for more parts before putting it together properly)

I have yet to play a single PS5 game. I have no felt compelled to even buy a ps5 yet, the library has been so meager

and I say this as someone who bought a ps1, ps2, and ps3 with fervor. they're making hardware so advanced that no developer can live up to the specs, because they don't provide tools

Thanks to this video I discovered a great quality of life feature hidden in the menus that animates your movements through the dungeon instead of snapping to the next tile. Makes it less disorientating.

Playing some Wizardry: Five Ordeals, which I believe is a collection of some Japanese Gaiden games and some fan made scenarios.

It’s a VERY barebones Switch port of the PC game but it’s also just great to have something like this available on Switch.

Just had a look at some Pokemon Legends: Z-A leaks and I have to say, every mega evolution looks dreadful. They look AI generated.

Excellent showcase of the ever exciting and innovative indie horror game scene.

PROXIMATE stands out as another title in an emerging sub-genre that finds an interesting way to take away the players sight to lay on the tension thick.

Three indie games, three different takes on a digital nightmare. While Proximate, Without a Dawn, and Dead Letter Dept. differ in their approaches, the takeaway is the same: our very perception of the world has been warped by systems outside our control. youtu.be/0zxQ9YAzy00

🧵Thread. I collect photos that people took of their TV screens (in the days before video) because they wanted to capture a historical moment, or at least something that meant something to them.

an in game screenshot of the game tempest from the haguar is shown in the middle of the imagery. surrounding the in game screenshot is the repeated thick white caps text font: 'them' (again and again and again) and then one 'you' in red (all with various arrows pointing towards enemies and you on the screenshot).

It has been one year since #MetaphorRefantazio was released. A great addition to the Atlus catalog, bringing many of the best mechanics from the Shin Megami Tensei series to a new fantasy setting.
