So, clearly he had been having a conversation about the shutdown and someone brought up “the nuclear option.” This led directly to this post AND his decision to start testing nukes again. Because he’s a child with ADHD that somehow is exacerbated rather than treated by the Adderall he snorts.

Calling people other than your parents’ siblings “aunt”/“uncle” is NOT some non-white thing. Everybody does it. I’m an only child but my daughter has had plenty. Do not let these bastards divide us by offering up the idea that they just don’t get it cuz they’re not brown. It’s a bad faith argument.

The causative association between hard drugs taken in early adulthood as the brain is still developing is not sufficient to say it definitely causes lifelong cognition-impairing brain damage. But it is very suggestive.

So glad this made it into Masterworks under the wire. It was literally life-changing stuff for me, and sure ive got it in floppy, softcover, and essentials, but just something about a color hardback… (And, again, now all we need is the post-clone Spec run!)

It’s gotta be the psychological difference in wrapping your head around adding to or subtracting from your mental map of yourself, cuz when my binder came off after breast tissue removal it was like the gates revealing Kong for me.

I am uncomfortable your use of the (accurate) phrase “prehensile 5th limb”… mostly because I forgot these weren’t apes and, as such, that you were talking about tails.
