yeah, I definitely don’t want to get anyone in trouble, but apparently her boyfriend is an open secret. he has Secret Service detail/nickname & she spends a lot of her time with him. I seem to recall he was initially a trainer or something extremely cliche.

Uhhh exclusive breaking news here in my replies in a parenthesis?
I have some friends that worked on it & apparently it was unfettered access to the worst people behaving badly & without filter (racist senators, Melania’s boyfriend drama, infighting, etc) so a good portion of that $40 million might just be hush money to insure the raw footage never escapes.

FYI the art below is from Cathy Malkasian’s SHADOWS OF THE SEA, and there are more preview pages in the article.

This is 100% my shit, it looks fantastic, the art is SO GOOD
The one about comic book page rates – again. News flash: Comic book page rates are STILL stagnant, after all these years, and for indie cartoonists it's even harder

As a man, that is as genuine, dyed in the wool, sincerely deeply held personal values dick punch as you'll ever see. He truly just wanted to whack that man in the balls as comprehensively as possible. This came from the heart.

Nothing else is quite like the feeling of running into a gonzo paragraph like this one.

It's weird to not only have lived through an information revolution but also now living through its undoing, all within less than a generation.
Google at its peak was basically the best information retrieval system in human history and they and every competitor decided going from there to “you didn’t want answers you wanted half-assed auto-complete 80%-wrong hallucinations” in a few years was the right idea

A question for something I'm doing:

With what you know right now, without looking up anything or thinking too much, would you consider the band Rancid to be a ska band?

Share please, I'd like to see as many answers as possible. Thanks!

The traditional version of the illustration I painted digitally last year, now as I had first envisioned it :)

it both rules and sucks that isaac chotiner continues to run circles around basically the entire media class using a unique genetic superpower known as "object permanence"

NYC friends: we have a friend’s teen daughter staying with us and she wants to go see the Macy’s parade. Best place to watch it still from central park on the UWS, yeah?

Also, any good ideas for things she can do after? Museums are all closed

The EIC of Semafor is trying to out-argue Chotiner and it is going as well as you might expect

Does he not have any friends or family that can snatch that phone out of his hands
I generally try not to comment on Twitter but Isaac Chotiner is over there giving Semafor body blows right now and I just want to say I find it alarming that he's allowed to come for you without warning (asking for an interview)

The real den of vice was further down Clark, where the downtown Loop now is, but probably the most famous gangsters to emerge from this part of town were those of the North Side Gang, Al Capone's most determined & irritating adversaries in the underworld.
