My favorite corporate schadenfreude was after T-Mobile did massive layoffs, they had an all-hands meeting where leadership talked about how it was our best year ever.
They then opened a chat window where people could submit anonymous questions/comments for leadership. It was a glorious shitshow.

One the other hand... I grew up on Sci Fi and the idea of having a plastic pal whose fun to be with sounds AWESOME.
