Starmer now acknowledges the immense harm done by Brexit, which he now plans to pin on Farage. He's right - but trying to "make Brexit work" is not realistic and will not repair the damage.
Time to acknowledge that recovery will need recognition of the need ultimately to rejoin. First CU, then EU.
