Back when I was in grad school the department had an annual Halloween costume party. My first year I came to class in a suit, carrying a briefcase. The department secretary saw me and came out to ask if I needed any help. When I told her I was a grad student she turned and left without another word!
There's footage of one of the crooks wearing a high-visibility safety vest while cutting into the case that held the jewels.
