It is really strange how people get so disconnected with reality.
You husband may want to ask his friend how AB could afford to pay for all of those things that an independent country has to pay for like military, border officers, customs procedures and so on.
Running a country isn't cheap.

The hostages were in my opinion considered disposable by Netanyahu and his cabinet. I doubt that he could have cared less about them. The goal was always to drive all Palestinians out, Hamas just gave them a reason to.

They already have their troops and militias (ICE, CBP and others) on the streets and neigbourhoods of your country.

I remember when he had an office on Pender St, he would come across the street to the building I worked in to have coffee at the little mom and pot coffee shop, I thought he was sleezy then and my view has never changed. FYI that was 1984 to 89.
