The hostages were in my opinion considered disposable by Netanyahu and his cabinet. I doubt that he could have cared less about them. The goal was always to drive all Palestinians out, Hamas just gave them a reason to.

Sadly, I know. What's happening now is something that has been under the surface of US society since at least the end of the Civil War in your country.

They have been able rally around the MAGA banner.

Antifa is you and anyone who speaks out against or organizes against the MAGA cult DC regime forming there.

They already have their troops and militias (ICE, CBP and others) on the streets and neigbourhoods of your country.

The question now is will they honour the oath to your constitution.

I remember when he had an office on Pender St, he would come across the street to the building I worked in to have coffee at the little mom and pot coffee shop, I thought he was sleezy then and my view has never changed. FYI that was 1984 to 89.
