I'm impossibly tall and broad, and I haven't done any voice training either, so...
I think people just can't accept me as a woman no matter what I look like. That's alright, they don't have to understand as long as the people I love do.

I live in NC, too!
I mean, the people in my life have reacted positively but that's because they're loved ones or relatives I can trust.
Strangers often stare or misgender me pretty often

I guess it's national coming out day.
I came out as trans officially to everyone (including my family) a few days after my 40th birthday.
But friends, partners, lovers, etc knew about the real me for decades. It's complicated.
