Very interesting take. Particularly about art requiring a certain amount of embarassement when presented with due seriousness. Hades' pitch makes it very easy to jump on board VS for example with the wonky-serious premise of Shadow of The Colossus.
But the latter put the fear of god in my bones.

SIMON: What?
SHAPIRO: ...Or saying...
SIMON: You imagine that?
SHAPIRO: ...Boy, if that had existed, it would have screwed me over.
SIMON: I don't think Al can remotely challenge what writers do at a fundamentally creative level.
SHAPIRO: But if you're trying to transition from scene five to scene six, and you're stuck with that transition, you could imagine plugging that portion of the script into an Al and say, give me 10 ideas for how to transition this.
SIMON: I'd rather put a gun in my mouth.

I wanted to portray how a high elf in space would definitely go crazy for futuristic fashion, ending up with a unique and creative blend of cyberpunk techwear, shiny sneakers and full-plate medieval armor.

Throwback to 2023, when I was still an intern and I was doing Draw Steel fancomics while following the development of the game.
I eventually had to stop due to the game being literally too fluid to capture (remember multi-turn casting?)
Now game is out! Might turn AoU into an actual comic after all…
