The far right has sold out for free Trump swag and videos of brown people being arrested. About a decade ago, there was a huge Republican scandal in Idaho after a proposed Chinese factory was rumored to be a "self-sustaining city" and beachhead for invasion. People resigned.

Previous No Kings protests have been so peaceful that I've seen people on the far left complaining they're not actually accomplishing anything. They can send the guard out to "put down agitators," but if there aren't any, it's going to look really stupid and reactionary.

My house didn't burn down in the Palisades Fire, but the drain on resources it caused made the Eaton Fire immeasurably worse and might have hastened our loss. I feel sick knowing this person caused so much damage and trauma. We will never be the same.
