Last night we kicked off our 2025–26 London season with the rocking and rolling of Symphonic Queen at the Royal Albert Hall, presented by Edith Bowman, conducted by Matthew Freeman, and featuring the Symphonic Voices. We can only hope you had as much fun as we did!

This weekend we performed at the Enescu Festival in Bucharest with Vasily Petrenko, Alexandre Kantorow for Liszt's Piano Concerto No.2, and Bruce Liu for Rachmaninov's Paganini Variations, as well as Enescu's Symphony No.1 & Rimsky-Korsakov's Scheherazade.

This weekend we travelled to Ulrichshusen and Redefin for the Festspiele Mecklenburg-Vorpommern with cellist Daniel Müller-Schott and Anne-Sophie Mutter, the final concerts of our tour to Europe in August with Vasily Petrenko. Thank you to everyone who supported us!

Today we're in Neumünster for the Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival with Anne-Sophie Mutter and Vasily Petrenko, playing John Williams' Violin Concerto No.2 and Shostakovich's The Gadfly 🎺 We've also been furnished with cakes and sandwiches made by the Festival volunteers! #rpoontour

Last night we were in Merano's Kurhaus with Vasily Petrenko for the 40th Südtirol Festival, our tenth appearance there. We performed Rimsky-Korsakov's Scheherazade, and were joined by Pablo Ferrández for Dvořák's Cello Concerto - thank you for making us feel so welcome! #rpoontour

Last week our Composer-in-Association Joe Hisaishi made his debut at the BBC Proms, conducting Steve Reich's The Desert Music, music from The Boy and the Heron, and The End of the World. We were joined by counter-tenor John Holiday, the BBC Singers, Philharmonia Chorus & the National Youth Voices.
