It's abuse done to teenagers and children at that. #ConversionTherapy abuse runs a gamut: it can be as "gentle" as coercive prayer and counseling, but it can also be shock therapy and other forms of outright physical torture. Parents often threaten their children with homelessness to get compliance.

What was done to Matthew 27 years ago still causes me and probably others to cry today.

He was beaten, tortured, tied to a fence and left for dead. He had only 2 spots on his face not covered in blood 🩸.
