In Yoshi's Island, a cave background sparkles, but only when Yoshi moves. This is achieved in an inventive way by making many 1-pixel "pinholes" in the background through which a field of stars is visible. The parallax motion shows the stars intermittently, creating sparkles.

I usually just assume that they're using a service that lets them make a single post and it gets posted to all socials simultaneously.

I see randomizers as a fun way to expand on a game's mechanics if you already liked how the game felt.

And especially on shorter games like snes games you can usually clear a rando in 1-2 hours so it makes for nice bite sized gaming when you don't have time for full modern games.

last of my shilling i promise but if you get stuck, the site actually shows you a map with step by step on the logic it's expecting. and if you click on the step you're stuck at , you get a video explaining the tech that is needed. it's actually insane how friendly it is.

War of the lions takes the original script and tries as hard as possible to make everything sound like old English to its detriment.

The new localization strikes a happy medium where it's using thematic English still but not to the point of it being jarring.

Yeah probably. But I don't like judging a game by hoping someone fixes any issues with it.

I also wish the remaster included more than just English language but I realize that hardly matters for most western players

Only slight complaint is that the "original" they include uses the war of the lions localization so because of that I think there's still a reason to play the original PS1 version.

I personally plan to replay the PS1 version at some point just because I have a soft spot for that localization

FF Tactics remaster is so good.

I love the additional dialogue they've given to characters if you bring them into story fights .

I love all the quality of life features.

I love the inclusion of the hard mode.

I also just adore the new localization.

They really went above and beyond
