It sucks but I think everyone goes through a time when they're just surviving, hanging on by the skin of their teeth. Life doesn't always have linear progress... or quest markers, unfortunately! I know you're a fighter and you'll get through this but remember to give yourself a break sometimes x

We had a choice between a local corner shop that also had a wall full of movies and a Blockbuster. The corner shop didn't get many new releases but everything was £1 and if they knew you they ignored BBFC age ratings 👀 I bought ex-rental VHS tapes from Blockbuster in their funny big boxes.

Yeah I dunno about that either. There are plenty of movies that aren't available on streaming or download, and plenty of folks don't have something that plays Blu Ray/DVD/VHS. Maybe there's actual data but this feels like "no citations only vibes" to me

It's Philip Pullman's 79th birthday today and as a birthday present to him I'm buying a copy of the conclusion to the Book of Dust trilogy, which is finally out next week after a 6-year wait! It's cool when the author of books you loved as a child remains a decent human

A friend took me into the London Warhammer shop earlier this year and the staff member we spoke to was a tgirl and helped point out all the characters who had queer girl lore: giant women, witchy women etc. It all went over my head but it was rad. If I was rich I'd consider getting involved
