this is a one panel comic kind of. there is a drawing of me looking slumpy in sweatpants and a cardigan asking, "Is there something wrong with me" and the text says "yes girl! you have PMS but it's okay" then we have a lil recipe. there is a drawing of an egg, a jelly jar, a slice of bread, a stick of butter, and a container with a lid that contains strained bacon grease. (if you do not have a strained bacon grease container idk what to tell you, i am from the SOUTH.) Step 1: In skillet on medium high heat toast your bread in the butter. Truss me daddy!!! Step 2: Remove toast and add some bacon grease. Fry egg either until sunny or over easy. Step 3: Spread jam or jelly on toast. Top with runny-yolk egg. Wrap your troubles in dreams and dream your troubles away. Helps if you have a cute plate. I have a little teddy bear plate I got from the Thieves Market in Florence SC. Then there is a drawing of me looking and feeling better, 'cause I do. I will be pukapuka tomorrow tho for sure.

Anyway I am plugging away at this little four pager, which is taking much longer to finish than I would like, but I have five non-work hours in the day and I have to spend some of that time on other stuff. (That Other Stuff is not my silly website 😔 )

This is a five panel comic done in just whatever pen was on my desk. In panel one I am laying diagonally across the bed and saying "Moosh the oracle deck said to take time for self-care and then I looked at the self-care part and it asked me if I had good hobbies and I said, 'I don't have TIME for hobbies' and now I don't know who I am." In the second panel Daryl Surat replies, "Drawing isn't your hobby?" I say "No! Drawing is my life's work." In the third panel he continues, "I thought your hobby was developing web site" and I sit up and say "omg!" In the third panel there are some html tags and little stars in the background and I am saying "You're SO right! Web site IS my hobby! I forgot!!" The last panel has a background of rain drops and I am saying "...I forgot because I don't have time for it."

They are: "Kei te pukumahi au" (I'm very busy), "Kei te pukuriri au" (I'm a bit peeved/annoyed), "Kei te hōhā au" (I'm over it/I've had enough), and "Kei te kaka tonu au" (I'm still strong.) Not pictured, but also frequently how I am feeling, is "Kei te hiakai au", which means "I'm hungry."

If you use Pinterest, here's another GenAI bullshit feature they apply to your account without telling you that you have to opt out of.

A screenshot of Pinterest's "Refine Your Recommendations" panel in the settings that has a section "GenAI interests". These were all on when I went into my settings, but I have no GenAI interests, so they are all turned off
