Like, I was 16 or 17. The people I worked with before were so kind and I’d get to bring home leftovers and it was delicious — and that shit at the next place.. “Israeli restaurant” “Israeli food” that isn’t real. It wasn’t even good. I did not want to eat anything from there. awful. god

And I finally quit when they yelled at me for asking 4 my first day off since starting, where I was like; hey, I have to babysit my little brothers. No one else can watch them and they have the day off from school. Nearly had me cryingg

But anyways, the point I was going to get to; the Israeli couple I briefly worked for ( got like $80 a week under the table HA ) were SO mean. They were friends w/ my grandmother on the Jewish side of my family. They would just bully the fuck out of me over anything.

It was especially funny since the only job I had b4 was serving at an Indian restaurant. You know, a place with really damn good food? And I made a fool of myself trying to pronounce the dishes names and getting it so, so wrong bc I am so damn white. God I miss smelling like Indian food every day

I was working two jobs prior to not working until it caught up to me and I ended up in the ER with a heart rate that wouldn't slow down until I had to take medication. I have been trying to get on disability since. A year later I started to caretake for my disabled child by myself as well. I had help previously but it wasn't working out and l've had to do a lot of it on my own, now I'm stuck in a situation where working isn't possible for my health and while I'm already caretaking for my disabled child that needs constant care. I did not ever envision this happening to me and have always worked hard to take care of my family but now I'm in what feels like an impossible situation trying my best to take care of my kids and myself so I can stay around for them as long as possible. Im not enjoying coming online asking for help but I have no where else to turn. I'm doing
