Hiya folks!

I'm saintguard, a variety streamer, TTRPG designer, editor and sometime voice actor. I also draw on occasion.

My latest work was There's Been A Murder!, a GMless murder mystery game based on Mobile Frame Zero: Firebrands.

I'm also fond of the Tintin Wednesday meme.

#ttrpg #artchallenge Day 13 - Blades in the Dark (Coral Snakes)

The Coral Snakes were a crew of assassins and the first Blades in Dark game I ever GM'd about four years ago. Prichard was an Inspector created out of a Devil's Bargain in the first session and ended up as a major NPC and client.

Orlan Prichard (she/they), Imperial Inspector and sometimes undercover agent. She is a wiry woman with short hair and hooded eyes and wears a black tie, a three-piece suit with a long coat, and a cap. They are smoking a cigarette while holding a pocket watch in their left hand.

I played a three-shot of this fantasy Arthuriana-esque game in-person a few months ago. Landry was the Free Knight, a serious and somewhat surly member of her retinue who fought an undead army, the source of the River, and a terrible Beast.

#ttrpg #artchallenge Day 11 - Scum & Villainy (Pandora)

The Pandora was a ship full of amnesiacs ala Dark Matter. It was a fun challenge to modify the game to try taking memory into account. Raven was an operative for the Lost Legion and the handler for Zara, an ex-noble and one of the PCs.

Raven (they/them), Lost Legion intelligence operative. They are a brown-eyed, brown-skinned muscular human with a scarred face, a no-nonsense expression, and their somewhat unruly brown hair tied back into a bun. They wear black coveralls, off-white futuristic sabatons, and a green sash around their waist.

This is the pettiest of complaints, but I’m sick of websites and apps removing “no” as an option. It’s been replaced by “maybe later” or “ask again later.”

I swear there is a direct line between anger about women’s consent and this and it WILL be what drives me to villainy.

This was the final session of a three-shot of Scum & Villainy, and it was a blast. Definitely makes me confident in my ability to GM in-person.

The crew dropped off their medical supplies and called in some big favors. Dressed in Legion uniform and flying a Legion shuttle, they landed on the prison ship as it was raided by pirates. Through the chaos and explosions, the crew found their pilot and escaped with only a few scratches.

Tonight in the Procyon Sector, the crew sneaked into a secret Yaru facility, liberating both medical supplies and a few clones. They came back to the ship to find their pilot had been captured by the 51st Legion and was on his way to trial for desertion.
