I feel like, not too long ago, we all understood that sexualizing women—especially in inappropriate contexts like children’s games—was a bad thing, even when you otherwise really love porn and sex.

Went to a local New Year's Eve party for our small town. The DJ was playing the standard mix of oldies and top 40 and it was nice. But then he threw on Golden and EVERYONE under 30 started singing along. It was cool but... kind of creepy.

One last novel to finish out the year: Beneathe Strange Lights by @itsviviactually.bsky.social is transgender Nancy Drew by way of Lovecraft. It’s a quick read and a lot of fun, and the first in a series.
