It's pretty wild to me that investigators have uncovered that anti-trans campaigns are largely funded by the fossil fuel industry, and that the presumed motivations are pretty directly to redirect the public conversation away from climate change... and that this isn't bigger news.

one of my first jobs at 18 was at a cafe in sausalito & there was a group of people who'd arrive like SOON after we opened at 5 or 6 am or whatever and quietly have tea in the corner ...

us who are early birds who chirp chirp on this website (and some europeans etc), often makes me recall them ...
