Amazon plans to replace 600,000 workers with robots. Goal is to eventually automate 75% of its operations.

Amazon is America’s 2nd largest employer. To avoid a bad image for firing most workers, Amazon may “participate in local parades & Toys for Tots.”

I’m thinking they really don’t care.

Now need to focus on boycotts. May need to sacrifice but consider how effective it was w/ Disney etc, & it is motivating.

If have family that doesn’t want to or you can’t for another reason, at least cut back.

Just shopping small businesses online or in person 90% of time makes a dent.

At the protest where I was a safety volunteer, we had at least one blind person and at least 3 using wheelchairs or walkers. We went out of our way to protect them, God bless them.

I was there. It was a lovely street party.

I danced on Pennsylvania Avenue with fellow Americans and inflatable animal fellow Americans- thanks to inspiration from Portaland,

No police were injured or killed.

No shit was smeared on the Capital.

Was a safety volunteer at a morning protest that had about 1000 with tons of honking cars going by, then went to DC where it was like a big street party. Danced the slide with tons of lovely people in red, white and blue and inflatable animal costumes.

If violence or chaos breaks out at a protest, never sit down. Sitting makes you vulnerable: unable to move, see danger, or react fast. Tear gas is heaviest near the ground, and a seated crowd is at risk of trampling or targeting.

Stay alert, stay on your feet, and always have a path to safety.
