I clicked, too--- apparently, there was so much interest that their website crashed minutes after the email went out. I absolutely love Plasmidsaurus (for DNA). Hope they bring the same revolution to RNAseq.

Major new measles outbreaks ongoing in states nationwide prompting quarantines in schools.

I’ve gotten several inquiries on booster guidance for Measles. We reviewed the recommendations this morning for @msnbc.com

Please note that your NIH director calls these precautions "lockdowns." Your FDA director says they prevent "natural" immunity, and your HHS secretary doesn't even believe in the germ theory.

I was deeply disturbed by Jay Bhattacharya & RFK Jr canceling federal funding for mRNA vaccine research & I thought that the OpEds that they each wrote were utterly pathetic, full of utter nonsense & anti-science BS

The US is going to be left behind (e.g., see www.yahoo.com/news/article...)

At the time where the U.S. has an anti-vaxxer in HHS it becomes more & more important to yell that the mRNA vaccines do exactly what they are meant to do & a recent study confirms it.

“A study, published on Wednesday in the New England Journal of Medicine, showed that last season’s 2024–2025 mRNA COVID vaccines reduced people’s risk of emergency department visits by 29%, their risk of hospitalizations by 39% & their risk of death by 64%”

Benefits were seen even if 0 risk factors

"Secretary Kennedy is entitled to his views. But he is not entitled to put people’s health at risk. This is bigger than politics. It’s about putting the health of Americans first."

I have been trying to get this published as an op-ed, but I am going to post it here since I think it is timely in light of the "consent" extortion events.

In my last R15, I replaced the old "diversity" section with one entitled "How this project will enhance Gold-Standard Research," addressing each point in the EO. Results .... it was not discussed.

Thankfully (for now), Bhatcharrya still barely understands his role. He still calls it the National Institute* of Health, for example, and spends all his time doing podcasts.

"I think Covid led to a massive rise in misinformation on social media, and before scientists could fact check it, or even knew about it… it was gathering pace. Trust in the medical profession began to drop."

If Kate Shemirani were an American, she would be our Secretary of HHS now. Senators (Drs.) Cassisity and Paul would be her new BFFs.

More than a million Americans died of COVID (even with a vaccine), and the people who said we should all get COVID in 2020 (before the vaccine) are now in charge of HHS. Killing Americans appears to be his primary objective.

Where are the people who were so outraged that Biden asked google to pull misinfo at Covid, now that Trump has made Apple pull the ice tracker app
