Put some punk, gothic, #gunpla, #art, #design, & #photography up at shadowsend.bigcartel.com.

This is my first use of Printful & Big Cartel, and will be adding more work as I figure it out.

The 4K remaster is STUNNING, by the way, and worth seeing if you’ve never actually experienced the 1982 movie (which is also really important for filmmaking history and VFX!)

Paper Girls is such a great series!
I wish the show had been a second season. It did really ingesting things on what I assume was a miniscule budget.

It was Star Musketeer Bismark in Germany, iirc. It wasn't very popular in the USA, but I was a huge fan. There was a glut of cowboy-style cartoons.

I think Germany was its biggest market.

About 3% of the US GDP is spent on the military.
That troops are lining up at food banks while CEOs of the military-industrial complex are chilling in mansions tells you all you really need to know about how well that money is being spent.

They’d be terrible.
It’s great how many kind of medium sized horror and sci-fi movies look great today because almost everything was practical or implied. Having the graboids underground saved a lot of money on the FX budget!

Ashley Wood made some figures for his World War Robot comics that eventually became Underverse. The Beautiful Chemistry line are all designed by other artists

I’m sure I’ve seen 2, mayyyyybe 3, and the TV show too. I’m guessing the whole SyFy “sharktopus” genre gave the Tremors franchise a few more years.

Tremors honestly doesn't feel old. The desert island aspect of being trapped in the valley still works, and the gun-nut-preppers certainly still exist.
And it's simply fun!
