what I wanna know is why they went in this direction on a pokemon like... feraligatr. like. this is a concept that would have made infinitely more sense to do on something like mimikyu. what about a water gator'd design and inspo says "ah yes, comically giant mascot head is the way to go"

I've gotta close at work the day it comes out and then I'm going out of town the day after only to have to get up for work at 3am the day after that and work til after 1, man why couldn't it have been next week or something 🥲
