From mid-August to mid-October we added $1 trillion more dollars to our debt. ONE TRILLION DOLLARS IN TWO MONTHS! To put this in perspective: The U.S. hit $34 trillion in Jan. 2024, $35 trillion in July 2024, $36 trillion in Nov. 2024, $37 trillion in Aug. 2025 and now $38 trillion in October 2025
US hits $38 trillion in debt, after the fastest accumulation of $1 trillion outside of the pandemic
The U.S. government's gross national debt has surpassed $38 trillion during the federal shutdown, marking a record high.

Illinois has now achieved its 10th credit rating upgrade since I took office.

It reflects our continued growth in financial standing and speaks volumes to our state's commitment to fiscal discipline.

With each upgrade, it means saving Illinoisans millions of dollars.

The German company that makes the mechanical ladder used in the Louvre heist has used the image to advertise, with the text 'When you need to move fast'

10/10 response, no notes
Thanks Barry!
The Hill article about return to office policies is a great read. Being forced to return toffice two years ago was the catalyst for my retirement.

Fwded the article to my old boss asking if they've suffered the same fate or been able to keep veteran talent 🧐

When you bike during the morning rush hour, you see drivers do all sorts of distracting stuff that takes their eyes off the road while driving: use a smart phone, put on make up, eat (sometimes with silverware!), reach for stuff far away in the car, and give stuff to kids. What else have you seen?
When I was bicycle commuting to work, I'd look around and every driver would be on their phone.

Local “Man” insists cyclists should ‘share the road’ by staying out of it entirely. Experts confirm he has not shared anything since 1998.
Hahaha that's funny. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent became chief investment officer for Soros’s firm and played a major role in several landmark financial trades, including the 1992 bet against the British pound that earned Soros over $1 billion (“Black Wednesday”).

Our story so far:
Trump orders minions to destroy the Capitol on Jan 6.
He's banned from YouTube.
He returns to the White House.
He sues YouTube for banning him.
They settle for $22 million.
That money is used by Trump to destroy the East Wing

Trump White House East Wing ballroom project got $22M boost from YouTube legal settlement
President Trump has said he and donors will cover the costs of the White House East Wing ballroom, but it is not clear who all the contributors are.

Fascism isn’t some high-flown ideology

It’s what happens when you shut down higher brain functions and think only with your lizard brain.

Hate. Fear. Violence. Cruelty. Us vs. Them

It’s the opposite of thinking
Thanks, Barry!

The Kevin Costner article is very interesting. Spouse is a big Yellowstone fan.

We are currently in southern Utah about 12 miles away from the Territory Studios location, but I'm not able to find anything about it on Google maps 🤷🏻‍♂️

Here’s the problem

MAGA is thrilled Trump is killing people
Is that the lady on TV who wears the big cross?

Religious hypocrisy.

"There's no hate like Christian love."
