Funny but 25-30% of those guys are active duty military or veterans that's 4x-5x the general population 7x for leaders

Up to 40% of leaders are vets as well

Government at all levels is 40% of US GDP. Getting rid of most of that won't increase the GDP or economic activity but gut it
Its not something that can be worked around. Its a natural product of tech driven efficiency.
If we keep adding tech we'll need more state to have an economy at all.

No one with a full time job should ever need benefits of any kind except in emergencies and ideally they'd be able to afford private insurance
Companies especially large ones want socialized costs, private profits
That needs to end though getting it without mass layoffs is going to require coercion

The fact a *single* Amazon full-time employee requires SNAP benefits should be a crime. The fact Amazon is the largest employer of SNAP recipients is a disgrace. Jeff Bezos shouldnt be that rich; he should be in jail.

Also they are being handled in a rather kak handed way . We do need a manufacturing base but that takes years to build and requires subsidy and control of the looters which this administration and the Republicans have failed at , if it intended to at all

Getting the Right on board with protecting workers is hard but even pulling some away from the crab pot mentality to "we've been screwed" and getting their heads in the game would be of benefit.

Problem with tariffs will bring back manufacturing jobs is that it probably won't

I've seen enough Gen Z packs out in the wild at the local eateries and such and they seem normal enough . Just not in relationships

As many as 50% of guys 18-30 ? That doesn't seem right. Also a lot of guys aren't virgins but don't have healthy sex lives though both are anecdotal

Also the disconnect between young men and women is fairly well documented. Men want a family, women a career

In 2016 primary candidates included 2 Latinos, a Woman and an African American

True but not funding a program is not a war crime.
Nations are not required to have welfare systems under international law
Also US also has only a resent tradition of positive liberty
and as no one is prevented by force from obtaining food, its not a crime
Its still terrible callous policy

A serious basic income economy can and will still be a market one but will be mixed in ways we are not used too and will require heavy people pressure to make happen or to keep it

The exception being such a low level of work that the deflation is destroying the entire economy
Even than you'll get a lot of lets fire our customers as this is more profitable. Its partially why eggs etc are stubbornly high

I hate to be that guy but there is some evidence that other than putting money in people's hands, UBI isn't that successful
Google it of you care
That said it is something we will need to do if we keep losing work to automation
Also it will need to come with price controls

That is the incel issue spot on. Its not the "way more virgins than there should be" which is different though tangentially related

Also certain types sex workers are illegal in the US outside of Nevada brothels and it can be hard to find ones that are consenting adults with agency
