If we ignore 2022 & CM Punk, only Bryan Danielson held the AEW Men's World Title for less than 100 days. Hangman's latest reign was longer than Swerve's.
If every reign is super long it loses its special feeling. Plus, in an even playing field anyone should be beatable at any time…it takes away the surprise if you know they aren’t losing for at least 6 months.
IMO, TK actually books long title reigns way more frequently than he should.

My biggest takeaway from this week's really stupid Hangman discourse is a bunch of wrestling fans need to get over their weird obsession with the length of title reigns. It is impossible to overstate how little that matters.
